About Me
After almost thirty years of clinical and teaching experience as consultant physician & clinical professor in Europe, USA & Middle East, LinkedIn, I founded my online teaching program in the USA in 2010 under the name of Virtual Medical Venture International (VMVi), to prepare medical students and junior doctors for postgraduate examinations such as USMLE, MCCEE, MCCQE, MRCP, etc. Our program was also very valuable for medical students who desired to enhance their medical learning while still at medical school.
Four years later, in 2014, we changed the name of our program to Baroud Academy of Medical Teaching International (BAMTi), which continued with the same mission. Today, fourteen years after the inception of our program, I am very proud to see many of our attendees had passed the examinations with impressive scores and joined postgraduate training programs of their choice in USA, Canada & Europe and many of them are practicing now as specialists, consultants & clinical leaders in their chosen medical fields.
At present, we are temporarily pausing my program as we are contemplating to launch new edition to start in 2025 , with many exciting changes. First, we will replace our online program with face-to-face, live lectures to be taken place in Dubai. This will allow better direct interaction between the lecturer and the students and between the students themselves. The second change is to focus our courses on USMLE as a reflection of the feedback from many potential attendees who expressed their desire to pursue their postgraduate training mainly in the USA. The third, and even more exciting change, is our plan to conduct the USMLE as one unified course, integrating both steps together instead of giving each step separately. This will avoid unnecessary repetitions of the same teaching material. Finally, I am pleased to announce that the new edition of my books, which, with other popular books, served as the basis of our program, is now available for our future courses. However, like the previous editions, my books will not be published for the time being.
I hope these, and other exciting changes, will take our future students and junior doctors one step further toward achieving outstanding scores in their future examinations to be able to realize their dreams of joining the residency programs of their choice in the USA .
